Senior Interaction Designer for Complex Internal Tools
I design intuitive, scalable user experiences while meeting real-world constraints like firm requirements, ambitious scope and tight timelines.
I specialize in interaction design and prototyping for products that don’t start clean. Much of my work involves modernizing legacy systems, clarifying workflows and improving usability without the luxury of a blank slate or large project team.
What I focus on
-
Designing interaction flows that hold up across edge cases, user roles, and real-world usage
-
Using high-fidelity, interactive prototypes to clarify behavior, states, and tradeoffs before implementation
-
Establishing practical UI patterns that map cleanly to component-based systems
-
Improving existing products incrementally, without assuming greenfield conditions or expanding teams
-
Applying AI selectively where it reduces friction in design or development workflows, not where it obscures decision-making
How I tend to work
I don’t try to redesign systems or introduce new process for its own sake. I focus on improving clarity, usability, and flow where it meaningfully changes how people get their work done while staying grounded in realistic constraints.
That usually means
-
Getting close to the problem
-
Prototyping early and often
-
Sharing work before it’s “perfect”
-
Making tradeoffs explicit
Platform migration projects
These case studies reflect how I approach interaction problems under real-world constraints.
They’re not meant as blueprints, they’re examples of judgment, iteration, and decision-making.
