Bank of America Examples
I spent a decade working at Bank of America. The User Centered Design Group was located in San Francisco, and was a great group of people. It was there that I met many of the designers, writers and usability folks that I respect and enjoy the most.
The bank was in the middle of a string of acquisitions; I was involved in the integration effort after the purchase of the credit card company MBNA. A couple years later the fateful purchase of Countrywide Mortgage would signal the peak of the Real Estate Boom.
The Financial Crisis kept us busy reacting to new regulations, rolling out product bundles, and exploring an application experience that combined deposit and credit card offerings.
