I joined Bank of the West in the summer of 2015, just as it had achieved parity with the major national banks in terms of online offerings.

One of the first projects I was assigned to was the exploration of an online-only banking experience. I used Axure to create several high-fidelity, interactive prototypes to support a series of usability tests. One prototype was built responsive, using Axure's Adaptive Views feature.

I've spent much of my time improving the Online Account Opening experience, which is hosted by a vendor. I partnered with our usability team and product owners to prioritize and execute on a series of improvements, then helped guide our vendor in the design of their next-gen platform.

Over the last year, the Design team has adopted Sketch and InVision to integrate with Slack and Jira. This has improved team communication and streamlined the bank's Agile process.
