Bank of the West

I joined Bank of the West in the summer of 2015, just as it had achieved parity with the major national banks in terms of online offerings.

One of the first projects I was assigned to was an exploration in an online-only banking experience. I used Axure to create several high-fidelity, interactive prototypes to support a series of usability tests. One prototype was built responsive, using Axure's Adaptive Views feature.

I then spent much of my time focused on improving the Online Account Opening experience, which was hosted by a vendor. I partnered with our Usability team and product owners to prioritize and execute on a series of improvements, often after creating a prototype to validate our design in usability tests.

Over the last year, the Design team has adopted Sketch and Invision to integrate with Slack and Jira. This has improved team communication and streamlined the bank's Agile process.

Samples of my work are available upon request.
