MONITORING PREFERENCES · AI GOVERNANCE PROTOTYPE

How much should the system interrupt you?

Today, many alert systems ask users to turn individual notifications on or off. As more alerts are added, the inbox can get noisy.

This concept explores a more adaptive model: setting preferences that help the system decide when to stay quiet, notify, or escalate.

Scenario

You’re setting preferences for an assistant that monitors your family phone plan. It watches activity across devices and flags unusual charges or usage patterns.

Use the sliders to decide how closely it should monitor activity, how much surprise you’ll tolerate and when it should interrupt you.
